sorry to be pushy, but I need to have the people back online as well for the tour I do organise in France end of Sept. So I post the event everywhere I can...
I have booked yesterday the B&B for 12 people. I am basically missing another ten happy members who did positively answer to the idea a few months ago before the crash of the other server.

here we go :

The 1st ever Ducati MH900e owners gathering in Europe will be hold in France in September 2008.
From Friday 19th to Sunday 21st of September 2008.

Hosted into one of the most beautiful region of France, North West part, 200km away from Paris near Deauville, Honfleur, into a very magnificent area called the French Swiss Normandy.

Welcome of all participants
Visit of Calvados Factory
Visit of Camembert maker
Visit of this incredible region.
Excellent food & beverage
Local roadbook : La Boucle du Hom, La route des Crêtes, Les Rochers des Parcs, la Roche d’Oetre.

Actually the idea came to me when I read on the former forum that many MHe in the US did gather together for dinner, parties etc on west coast. Then I found on the internet the amazing pictures of tens of MHe in Japan for similar event. So I thought we could try to do something equivalent in Europe, and the best would be to start in France ! So it is launched now :-)

Ok some updates. We got the B&B booked. We got an oenologist booked as well who will explain to us the difference between various ciders and calvados... Should be done by the saturday night after a good dinner on Honfleur's port.

Sergio @ starts to look good to me :-)

I don't know why Sergio is still posting this Event because as of today he has closed it to any more Ducatisti "it is easier for me to manage and handle 10 people than 23" to quote Sergio :-(

Ciao Andy and all,

actually, 23 people did the pre booking for the European MHe Tour. In between, the former forum crashed and only 10 people came back to life after I did recontact them to confirm their participation. So off course for me, it is easier to manage a smaller group of MHe, but I would be more than happy if all originally pre booked owners confirm their arrival.

this is why I keep battleling my drum to get people back on line.

Good day guys,

hope you are all well and getting ready for our first european MHe tour ever !

just wanted to confirm to you a few points :

- I am doing cool teeshirts (I hope you will like the design)for you to get back some souvenir of this meeting.
- the B&B is booked, 5 km away from Honfleur cute sea port.
- Owner is a Ducati rider, we will be VIP guest at very low rate.
- First meeting point for those who arrive on Friday will be on Honfleur port, latest time will be 19:00 PM to get you to the B&B and then for our first dinner
- I have a guy professional in Calvados who will coach us and teach us to taste some local liquors
- Please remember that this is a cool tour in Swiss Normand, no race. I insist, this is no race, we will enjoy good time together.
- I will have each of you sign a letter of acceptance of own risk. no race, just relax touring and self control.

ciao all,

hope you are doing well. This week end I worked onto the MHe to solve a fuel leakage I got which stopped me past week end to go out for a ride. I enjoyed a lot the two days rain in Normandy where I am, to stay in the workshop and dismantle one more time the fairing, the fuel tank to identify the source of my misery :-) and I think I got it. a loose fast clip for the incoming fuel pipe, loose into the alu mounted mouth directly into the tank. So now, I am ready for the MHe European Tour.

Logo of teeshirts is secured. will get them printed this week. Flag is currently malde and shipped to me, and I now hope we will get some decent weather for a change.
